Hamed Layssi
Hamed Layssi is a co-founder and structural engineer at FPrimeC Solutions Inc. which specializes in advanced nondestructive testing and evaluation of concrete materials and structures.
Over the past 15 years, Hamed has been heavily involved with the concrete industry as a professional engineer, and researcher. He has an extensive academic background in non-destructive testing and evaluation of structural systems, digital inspection, and advanced concrete repair.
He holds a PhD from McGill University, Canada, ranked among 150 top researchers in Canada in 2018, and received the 2018 entrepreneurship award from the PEO, Ottawa chapter.
Hamed is a member of the Deep Foundations Institute Testing and Evaluation Committee and a voting member of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Committee 228 on Non-destructive Testing of Concrete.

Jose Afshar
Jose Afsharipour is geotechnical engineering expert at FPrimeC Solutions. He holds a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, where he specialized in modeling the combined thermal effects of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) and climate non-stationarity on permafrost stability.
Since joining our team, Jose immersed himself in Non-Destructive Testing and Evaluation (NDT/NDE) of concrete structures, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the field.
Driven by a deep-seated passion for technology, Jose seamlessly integrates Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) models into engineering education and fieldwork, leveraging a suite of 3D modeling tools and LiDAR technology.
Michael Mochocki
Michael Mochocki is an intern currently pursuing his studies at Toronto Metropolitan University in the Civil Engineering program with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
Michael’s leadership shines through as he successfully led a team to a remarkable 2nd place in a Student Engineering Design Competition at TMU, showcasing his ability to innovate and excel in challenging environments. His passion for Non-Destructive Testing is evident in his commitment to pushing the capabilities of data analysis.
Outside of the office, Michael enjoys cycling and recently undertook a remarkable cross-Canada cycling adventure from Toronto to Vancouver. We are thrilled to have him on board, contributing his talents and enthusiasm to our ongoing projects.
